This is a small community project run by volunteers. We collect as little as possible, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.

What we store

• Your care logs when you log a feed or water refill, we record the animal, the time and a display name so other volunteers can see it.
• A display name only if you sign in. If you use Google, we keep the name from that account.
• Reports you submit the animal, the map pin and any photo you attach.

Photos

Photos you upload are resized and compressed in your browser before upload. This strips the EXIF data, which means your camera's GPS coordinates and device serial number are not stored with the picture.

Location

We only ask for your location when you press Use my location. It is used once to place a pin, and it is never used to track you. The map itself always opens on the park, not on you.

Your device

Some settings (such as your saved location and unsent reports) are kept in your browser's local storage so the app works offline. That data never leaves your device unless you press save.

Deleting your data

Use the reset button at the bottom of the sidebar to clear everything stored on your device. To remove an account permanently, email us and we will delete it.
