StrayFeedingMap is a free, volunteer-run map that helps people find and care for stray cats and dogs. By using it you agree to the points below.

This is not an emergency or veterinary service. If an animal is clearly injured, aggressive or in danger, contact a local vet, animal control or rescue organisation instead of relying on this map.

Looking after animals

Only feed or handle animals you are comfortable with, and never approach an animal that seems frightened or unwell.
Keep the map roughly accurate move or update a pin if an animal has clearly left the spot.
Do not post anyone's home address as an animal's location. Use a general landmark instead.

Your account

Keep your display name honest, and do not impersonate another volunteer.
Do not post abusive content, spam, or anything unlawful.
You can stop using the service at any time; use the reset button to clear your local data.

Photos

Only upload photos you have the right to share. Do not photograph people or children without permission. By uploading a photo you let us store it publicly so volunteers can identify the animal.

No guarantee

The service is provided "as is", for free, by volunteers. Animal locations may be out of date or wrong. We are not liable for anything that happens as a result of using this map.
